There will be moments that you will need to exclude users from accessing
your operational network. The iCard MIS system provides 3 different ways for
blocking the access to the system
|
|
|
- Stop An Active Session.
- Select the Usage Reports option
- Provide the report parameters
- Active sessions will have the value Closed=0
Pressing on the STOP option next to the Closed value for the session,
will stop immediately the session.
Remember. Stopping a session will not avoid the user to open a
new session with the same or another card.
- Block An iCard.
- Select the Lock/Unlock option
- Enter the iCard id, select Lock The Card and press Submit
The card will be blocked and the user will not be able to use it in any
location.
Remember. Blocking a card will not stop any active session with
the card and will not avoid the user to open a new session with a new
card.
- Block A Specific Device.
- Select Excluded Devices
- Add the MAC address of the device to exclude, provide a description
and press Add New.
The device will be blocked and no user will be able to use it in any
location.
Remember. Blocking a device will not stop any active session.
