PayPal is a very successful organization specialized in the online payments with more than 50 million members around the world that allows to both individuals and businesses to send and receive payments through the Web in 5 different currencies. US accounts and soon European accounts will be able to accept Credit Card payments to PayPal accounts.

Installation Steps
  1. Order iCards for the PayPal Sales Method.
    When ordering iCards you should define the Location name (you cannot order card for All locations with the PayPal sale method) and the Sale Method=PayPal.

     
  2. Price The Prepaid Cards.
    Open the option: Pricing, PayPal and select the appropriate location name.

    You should price individually the prepaid card types for the specific location (decimal separator: .) Note that the currency applied will be the one from the location.
     
  3. Initiate the CC Smart Authorize For the location.
    Open the option: Location Properties and select the appropriate location. Under the PayPal Properties you will be able to individually update the properties

    PayPal Support: Enable/Disable PayPal payment acceptance
    PayPal Account: The merchant PayPal account
    PayPal Merchant Name: The merchant business name
     
  4. Place the PayPal  link to the Login Portal.
    Press the Add PayPal button to enter the HTML code and press the Update button to update the location properties.

     
  5. Press on the Portal button to see what the user will see at the login screen.
    You can use the same HTML code as the one inserted to the Login page to sell online prepaid cards through the CC Smart Authorize system from any Web site.
     
End User Purchase Procedure
  1. At the login screen the user will clic on the URL link.

     
  2. Select the prepaid card to purchase

    and press the Pay With PayPal button.
     
  3. Confirm the amount and press the PayPal payment button.

     
  4. Complete the payment at the PayPal site.
  5. Receive the Pin Code with the payment confirmation screen

     
  6. Both the End User and the iCard MIS partner will get an email with detailed information on the transaction.
Frequently Asked Questions
  1. My PayPal account accepts Credit Card payments. In this case, can I use the PayPal as the unique payment method for my prepaid cards?
    Yes. PayPal fees are much lower than conventional CC merchant fees.
  2. What happens if a PayPal payment is not completed?
    In this case, the Pin Code is released to the user but it is locked, till the payment is completed.
  3. Can multiple PayPal payments take place simultaneously?
    Yes. There is no limit to the number of simultaneous PayPal payments.
  4. Can I have my prices in USD and have the users pay me in other currencies.
    Yes. End users will be able to do this at the PayPal screen. The currency conversion will happen within PayPal and will not affect the transaction.
  5. Can I configure individually locations for PayPal payment?
    Yes. You can configure individually locations with different PayPal accounts.
